Physiotherapy

Most people stop moving when something hurts.

Pain that keeps coming back.
Movements that don’t feel right anymore.
Training that suddenly feels limited.

Stopping rarely solves the cause.

Understanding it does

Where physiotherapy meets strength

Physiotherapy shouldn’t take you away from movement.
It should guide you back into it.

At Vitalavida, pain isn’t treated in isolation.
We look at how you move, how you load your body and where compensation starts.

Because most recurring pain isn’t random.
It follows a pattern.

That’s why our approach doesn’t stop at the treatment table.
We rebuild strength, control and confidence, so your body can handle more.

Back to Moving With Confidence

Every case follows a clear progression plan, from assessment to full integration back into training.

Assessment first

Every Free Pain Check starts with a structured movement assessment.
We test joint range of motion, stability under load and asymmetries between left and right, not just the painful area.

Understanding the pattern

Recurring pain is rarely isolated.
We determine whether the issue comes from limited mobility, poor load distribution or insufficient strength in a specific muscle group.

Reload with purpose

Avoidance of specific movements weakens muscletissue. We progressively reintroduce load with precise exercise selection, controlled tempo and clear progression.

Integration into training

Once the painful movement is stable and strong again, we bring it back into full training. Squatting, pressing or running without pain.

I’ve been training with Melissa for about two months now, and I’m already seeing visible results! The workouts are intense, but she always knows how to motivate me to push just a little further. You can tell she’s highly knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys trying new things. It’s always a great atmosphere, and she really sees what you need. I’d recommend her to anyone!

I’ve been training with Melissa for almost three months now, and I couldn’t wish for a better personal trainer! She constantly pushes me to challenge my limits, helping me get the most out of myself, both physically and mentally. I’ve grown so much over the past few months. And just as important: the sessions are always fun, and our conversations are truly enjoyable. I highly recommend her to everyone!

Over the past few months, I’ve completed a program with Melissa and it has helped me tremendously! She guided me every step of the way, from nutrition to training. My own motivation to work out and eat healthy hasn’t always been consistent, but Melissa kept lifting me to the next level. She’s incredibly driven, professional, and truly knows her stuff. So if you’re looking for a personal trainer who supports you from A to Z. Melissa is the one!

Training outdoors, often in the sunshine, is truly a joy at VitalaVida. Thanks to a thorough intake and Melissa’s expert guidance, I notice progress every single week. Each session ends with a moment of rest and a coffee or protein shake, the perfect way to wrap up. And by now, a community of like-minded people has formed, which makes it all the more enjoyable.

I stayed and trained with Melissa for a week-long retreat and had the most energising, relaxing experience. The facilities were excellent, and the food was fresh, healthy and perfectly balanced. Melissa tailored each session to my existing training routine and shared valuable coaching techniques. I’d recommend this retreat to anyone looking to escape the everyday while maintaining or kickstarting a healthy rhythm. I’ll definitely be back in 2026.

I’ve trained with the lovely Melissa in both private sessions and group classes, and she’s an incredible coach. She really pushes me during workouts and I love that she checks in afterwards to see how my body feels. I’ve only been training with her for a few weeks but I already feel so much stronger and I’m truly grateful for that. Also, her gym is absolutely stunning. Training outdoors feels so special. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more and I’m so happy we have the best PT on the Costa Blanca.

Melissa has the right formula for real strength training. Love training outside in the warm winter sun. Coffee and protein shake chaser with a nice relaxation session to bring down the heart rate. If you want to get strong and lean, come join!

Who is physiotherapy for?

This is for you if:

N

You’ve had the same pain for months and it keeps returning.

N

You avoid certain movements because they “don’t feel right”.

N

You’ve been told to rest, but the issue never fully resolved.

N

You want to understand what’s actually causing the limitation.

N

You’re willing to actively rebuild strength instead of waiting it out.

This is not for you if:

M

You’re looking for a quick fix without changing anything.

M

You expect passive treatment without participation.

M

You’re not ready to look beyond the painful spot itself.

Hi i’m melissa

I’m a licensed physiotherapist with a performance-driven approach to recovery.

I don’t see pain as something that automatically means you should stop. I see it as a signal that something needs attention.

Having dealt with physical setbacks myself, I understand how quickly people start avoiding movement. My role isn’t to protect you from loading your body. It’s to identify the cause, rebuild the weak link and guide you back into movement without pain.

I’ll show you what’s happening, what needs to change and how we rebuild it, step by step.

FAQ

Is the Free Pain Check really free?

Yes. The Free Pain Check is completely free and comes with no obligation.
The goal is simple: understand what’s causing the pain, assess how it affects your movement and discuss the most appropriate next step.

What happens during the Free Pain Check?

We start by discussing the issue, when it occurs and how it affects your training or daily life.
From there, we assess movement, mobility, stability and strength to identify potential limitations and compensations. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s contributing to the problem and what can be done about it.

Do I need to be a Vitalavida member?

No. The Free Pain Check is available to both existing Vitalavida members and people who have never trained with us before.

Is this suitable for acute injuries or severe pain?

The Free Pain Check is designed for recurring pain, movement limitations and training-related issues.
If you’ve experienced a recent traumatic injury, severe pain, loss of function or symptoms that require urgent medical attention, it’s important to consult a doctor or specialist first. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and we’ll point you in the right direction.
